Enterprises, Inc. in Bedford Park originated this way in 1962; a family owned business proudly contributing to the prosperity of its' local and regional economy. Today, A. W. CaseGuys two-way cases are also made in LeatherLon, a semi-ridged nylon-foam material as strong and durable as nylon, lighter weight and less expensive than leather yet resistant to moisture, hardening and cracking. Top grain leather, Nylon, neopreme and nylon webbing materials are also available.

Recently, shipments to OEM two-way radio manufacturers Tait Electroincs LTD exceeded 70,000 cases and exceeded 50,000 cases to E. F. Johnson Technologies. A. W. Enterprises makes cases for other two-way radio manufacturers, as well as distributing through communication equipment dealers.
